This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw kicked off with a promo from the Monster Among Men Braun Strowman, and he hyped up the Universal Title match at the Royal Rumble.
Strowman talked about how he destroyed Kane and Brock Lesnar last week, and we saw a replay of the backstage altercation where Braun pulled down a lighting truss that fell on Kane and Brock Lesnar.
Raw General Manager Kurt Angle then made his way to the ring, and he said that he’s responsible for all of the employees on Raw. Kurt said someone could have been seriously hurt due to Braun’s actions last week, and that on Raw, Superstars settle their issues in the ring, not backstage where the crew can get hurt.
Strowman fired back by saying that he does what he wants, and if he wants to become the Universal Champion at the Royal Rumble, he will.
Kurt then delivered some bad news to Strowman when he said the Universal Title match at the Royal Rumble will no longer be a triple threat, as Braun has been removed from the match.
Angle then followed up by saying that Braun Strowman is fired, and he left.
Braun Strowman was then escorted to the exit by security, but he then wrecked the security crew and said he’s not finished yet as he turned around and walked back into the arena.
