Braun Strowman Defeats Bray Wyatt At Money In The Bank

Roman Reigns was originally set to challenge Goldberg for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36, but Roman was replaced by Braun Strowman after he pulled out of the Show of Shows.

Luckily for Braun Strowman he went on to defeat Bill Goldberg to become the Universal Champion for the first time in his career.

It didn’t take long for Bray Wyatt to set his sights on Strowman, and on Sunday night Bray challenged Braun for the Universal Title.

Bray made his way to the ring as the Firefly Fun House version of his character, and he smiled in the ring as he waited for Braun to arrive.

The two went back and forth for a while until Bray Wyatt hit a tornado DDT and followed up with Sister Abigail, but Strowman kicked out.

At one point Bray Wyatt beat Braun Strowman down on the outside, and Strowman got back in the ring with a black sheep mask on, and he convinced Bray that he was coming hom.. He ripped his shirt off as Bray Wyatt laughed. They hugged then Braun pulled the mask off.

Bray went for a handshake and asked Braun to trust him, but Braun hit him with the running powerslam and pinned him to win the match.
