Last week Nick Aldis officially unveiled the WWE Women’s United States Championship belt.
This week on Friday Night SmackDown a title tournament kicked off with a triple threat match featuring Bayley, B-Fab and Candice LeRae. The title tournament match featured a lot of back and forth action with a number of near falls, but in the end it was Bayley who picked up the win.
The end of the match came when B-Fab went for a kick on Bayley only for Bayley to reverse it into a roll up for the win. Bayley will now advance to the to the semi-finals in the WWE Women’s United States Championship tournament.
It’s been confirmed that the first ever WWE Women’s United States Champion will be crowned at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14. Triple H also confirmed that the following matches will take place in the weeks to come:
Bianca Belair vs. Chelsea Green vs. Blair Davenport
Jade Cargill vs. Piper Niven vs. Michin
Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Elektra Lopez
