It hasn’t been a very good week for Jason Jordan after he was replaced by Triple H in the Survivor Series traditional elimination match at the last minute. The Game then went on to hit Kurt Angle’s son with a Pedigree to send a message that he was more than ready to replace him this weekend.
Jordan has been part of some incredible matches ever since he was moved over to the Raw brand and became Kurt Angle’s illegitimate son a few months ago but it seems that he isn’t connecting with the WWE Universe in the way that the company had hoped.
One man who doesn’t seem to be supporting Jordan is Raw commentator and former Intercontinental Champion Booker T, who shares negative thoughts about Jordan every week as part of the show.
In a recent podcast appearance with Hughezy Entertainment, the former King of the Ring was finally able to get brutally honest about his dislike of the former SmackDown star.
“I’m not heeling on him (but) if I like you, I like you (and) if I don’t like you, I don’t like you—it’s that simple. To me, he has not proved himself to be a top guy on Monday Night RAW.”
Booker seems to balance out the commentary desk since Michael Cole is always seen as a voice that will back Jordan, but it seems that Booker isn’t doing this to stand out or to balance the opinions behind the desk.
“I don’t see one sign in the audience that says Jason Jordan is ‘my guy.’ If you ain’t got no signs out there, it tells me one thing – you ain’t that hot or people just don’t care about you. Right now, Jason Jordan is lukewarm.”
Booker may have stated his opinion in a harsh way, but he makes a valid point. Jordan has all the tools to become a top star on the Raw roster and has a much more superior ability that many of the stars who are currently in the top spots on the red brand, so where are WWE going wrong? Why isn’t Jordan connecting with the WWE Universe?
