Bobby Roode On If He Would Rather Get Called Up To Raw Or SmackDown

Bobby Roode is the current NXT Champion and most fans would agree that his title run has been glorious so far. However, there are also quite a few fans out there who are anxious to see Roode leave NXT behind and join the main roster.

Raw and SmackDown both have their own unique rosters and there’s no shortage of people Bobby Roode could work with if he does get called up sometime soon. The NXT Champion was recently asked by Sportskeeda if he has a preference as to which brand he wants to join, and Roode says he’d be happy to join either roster.

“No, I don’t (have a preference). I think both brands are great and obviously, I’d rather go to the brand that suits me the most at whatever time that is (main roster call-up). Whether it be SmackDown Live or RAW, it really doesn’t matter. I think the talent is exceptional on both sides so I can sink my teeth into whatever is put in front of me in either brand so whether it’s Monday nights or Tuesday nights, it really doesn’t matter to me.”

Bobby Roode won’t be competing at WrestleMania 33 this year, but he will be putting his title on the line at NXT Takeover: Orlando the night before the show of shows.

Roode was also asked about who his dream WrestleMania opponent would be, and he didn’t pick out a specific superstar. According to Bobby Roode, when he finally does get to WrestleMania he wants to wrestle whoever the world champion is at the time.

Probably a good call on Bobby Roode’s part. Only time will tell if he has what it takes to challenge for the biggest prize in the industry on the grandest stage of them all.
