Are Bobby Roode And Eric Young WWE Bound?

TNA lost two former World Champions on Saturday night because both Bobby Roode and Eric Young finished up with the company. Roode and Young requested to be released from TNA after working with the company for 12 years and their request was granted.

As soon as news of their departures hit the Internet, fans immediately began talking about the possibility of both guys coming to WWE. Dave Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio that the rumor going around is that the departures may be WWE related, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet.

PWInsider is reporting that the reason why Roode and Young left TNA had to do with pay issues. Bobby Roode will be talking to Taz Monday morning so perhaps we’ll get some clues about where his wrestling career is headed.

Eric Young will also be speaking to Busted Open Radio on Monday afternoon.

WWE has picked up several former TNA stars in the past year or so. Samoa Joe and Austin Aries are currently working in NXT and AJ Styles is well on his way to becoming a top star on the main roster. Bobby Roode’s tag team partner James Storm also worked a few matches with NXT but the two sides couldn’t agree on money. Storm ended up signing a new deal with TNA.
