Bobby Lashley lost his United States Title when he dropped the belt to Riddle at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, but it looks like the former champion is moving on to bigger things, as he’s set his sights on the WWE Championship.
Lashley has found success as a member of The Hurt Business, and The Hurt Business has clashed with Mustafa Ali and RETRIBUTION in the past.
Even though The Hurt Business and RETRIBUTION haven’t seen eye to eye in the past, Lashley had nothing but good things to say about Ali during a recent interview with Metro UK.
“Ali’s incredible. He has a great mind for the business, he has an energy and he brings everything to RETRIBUTION. So, I think that they have a long way to go, I think you’re gonna see a resurgence of RETRIBUTION.”
Bobby Lashley went on to suggest that as long as The Hurt Business is around RETRIBUTION would be better off on SmackDown.
“They just need to find a different show because they can’t be on the same show with the Hurt Business, because the Hurt Business runs Raw. ‘If they wanna be able to bring themselves back up to be a dominant force, they may need to look at SmackDown and maybe even look at a different direction.”
