For years people have been talking about a possible Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley match, and when Bobby made his return to WWE in April, it seemed that the dream match was getting closer to becoming a reality.
But the match still hasn’t happened, and during a recent appearance The Big J Show on KRSQ Hot 101.9, Bobby was asked if he’s upset over the fact that he’s not feuding with Lesnar right now.
“I wasn’t so much bummed, I was more pissed off,” Lashley admitted via Wrestling Inc. “Ever since I came into WWE, there’s always been that comparison, and our paths have never crossed.”
The former Impact World Champion went on to say that he’s had conversations with Paul Heyman, but he hasn’t had the conversations with Brock Lesnar that he wanted to have.
When asked if he would rather face Lesnar in WWE, or in the MMA world, Lashley said that to him, “it really doesn’t matter.”
“I’m waiting for it to happen. I think so many other people are so also. It’s something that’s going to be electric, it’s something that… needs to happen.”
