The TNA saga just seems to keep getting weirder and weirder with each passing day. Billy Corgan has filed a lawsuit against TNA, and now the state of Tennessee is trying to collect unpaid taxes from the company.

David Bixenspan of SEScoops.com is reporting that the State of Tennessee issued a tax lien against TNA Entertainment LLC on September 8. According to the report, TNA owes so much money to the state of Tennessee that the state has the right to seize TNA property if the debt is not paid.
TNA now operates under Impact Ventures LLC, but the report notes that Tennessee tax law applies to successor companies. If the company does get sold it’s possible that the buyer could end up taking on the debt, depending on the deal that is made.
As far as Billy Corgan’s lawsuit against TNA goes, a hearing is set for October 20.
A spokesperson for Billy Corgan issued the following statement to ProWrestling.net:
“As president, Billy is looking out for the long-term interest of the company, its employees, its talent, as well as its stakeholders and contractors.”
