The IIconics have been one of the top teams in WWE’s women’s tag team division for some time now, but they are no longer allowed to team together.
Billie Kay and Peyton Royce were defeated by The Riott Squad last week on Raw with the stipulation being that the winners would get a title shot, and the losers would have to break up.
This week on Monday Night Raw The IIconics faced one another in a singles match, and it was Peyton Royce who picked up the victory.
Billie Kay recently spoke to Chris Van Vliet in an interview that appears to have been conducted before the breakup, and she noted that they both wanted to have singles careers.
“I think we eventually do want to do some sort of singles career. I think that just all comes down to evolving as who we are, as Billie and Peyton and as The IIconics. So when that happens I think that we’ll both have so much fun doing that.”
It was recently reported that Vince McMahon is high on Peyton Royce, and wants to push her as a singles star. So, it will be interesting to see where both Peyton Royce and Billie Kay go from here.
