Bill DeMott Announces He Has Stepped Down As Head Trainer Of NXT

Bill DeMott announced Friday that he is stepping down from his role as head trainer for NXT effective immediately.

“I deny the recent allegations made about me, however, to avoid any embarrassment or damage to the WWE, I’ve decided to step down from my role effective immediately,” he wrote on Twitter.

DeMott has come under fire recently as several former students have made accusations that he’s coaching practices are abusive both physically and mentally.
