Sunday night was Bray Wyatt’s night as he managed to survive the Elimination Chamber and win the WWE Title for the very first time. However, Bray Wyatt’s title reign could come to an end on Tuesday because WWE has announced that Wyatt will defend his belt against John Cena on SmackDown this week.
John Cena won his 16th WWE World Title at the Royal Rumble last month when he defeated AJ Styles. Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan both told AJ Styles that he would get a one on one rematch for the belt, but the match has yet to happen. It’s should be interesting to see what WWE has planned for AJ’s one on one rematch, if the match is indeed still in the plans.
Bray Wyatt won the Elimination Chamber match on Sunday, and Randy Orton won the Royal Rumble match last month. The Wyatt Family has been slowly falling apart over the past few months and Orton faced off with Luke Harper Sunday night at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Orton was able to defeat Luke Harper and he had a stare down with Bray Wyatt to close out the show.
With Harper out of the family, Erick Rowan out with an injury and Braun Strowman on Raw, Randy Orton is the only other Wyatt Family member besides Bray Wyatt himself. However, with Bray and Randy Orton currently set to face off at WrestleMania 33, it looks like there may not be a Wyatt Family after April 2nd.
