There’s been a lot of movement in WWE recently as some of the top names from NXT have joined the main roster. Roxanne Perez was called up to Raw, while Giulia officially joined the SmackDown brand. It’s also been reported that Stephanie Vaquer and Jordynne Grace are expected to get called up to Raw and SmackDown respectively.
Over the weekend Stephanie Vaquer managed to successfully defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Jardynne Grace at Battleground, but Vaquer dropped the belt to Jacy Jayne a few days later during the most recent episode of NXT.
With Stephanie Vaquer expected to join the main roster it seems that WWE already has a big match lined up for her as Cory Hays of PWN is reporting that Stephanie Vaquer vs. Iyo Sky is expected to happen sooner than later.
It’s not clear exactly when the match will happen, but fans on social media are already speculating that we could potentially see Vaquer vs. Sky at the upcoming Evolution premium live event in July. Stephanie Vaquer and Iyo Sky last faced off on the Raw after WrestleMania in a match that ended in a no contest.
