Business has picked up over the last few months on WWE programming as there are a number of long running feuds on the main roster. AJ Styles and Dominik Mysterio have been involved in a heated rivalry and it seems that their feud is set to continue.
PWInsider is reporting that the AJ Styles vs. Dominik Mysterio feud is not over yet. The word going around backstage at Monday Night Raw this week was that the feud is expected to carry over into the AAA x WWE Worlds Collide premium live event next week.
Dominik Mysterio is currently set to challenge El Hijo del Vikingo for the AAA Mega Championship at the event. Last month Dominik attempted to win the title when he faced El Hijo del Vikingo, El Grande Americano and Dragon Lee in a four way match for the AAA Mega Championship in the main event at Triplemania. However, El Hijo del Vikingo ended up retaining the title after AJ Styles interfered and attacked Dominik.
AJ Styles has been chasing the Intercontinental Championship for months now. Unfortunately for AJ he failed to win the belt when he challenged Dominik Mysterio at SummerSlam last month, and he was also defeated by Dominik Mysterio once again on Raw this week after El Grande Americano interfered in their match.
Dominik Mysterio has been Intercontinental Champion since he won the belt at WrestleMania 41 back in April. He has successfully defended his title in a handful of matches since the Show of Shows, but one way or another it seems that AJ Styles is still looking to be the one to take the belt off Dominik.
