Big WWE Departure Takes Place Behind The Scenes

It’s certainly no big secret that WWE has made some budget cuts, and last month the company released a number of talents and employees.

Now it looks like another name is gone as PWInsider is reporting that Michael Mansury, Vice President of Global Television Production, parted ways with the company last week.

It’s being reported that he gave notice to the company several months ago and let WWE know he would be leaving in May.

Mansury was said to have been a big part of Triple H’s regime, and some had dubbed him the “next” Kevin Dunn. The idea was that one day he would fill Kevin Dunn’s role down the line.

Michael Mansury joined WWE in 2009 and held various roles including Production Assistant, Associate Producer, Producer and Managing Producer before he was promoted to his role as Vice President in March of 2016. Mansury had been the director of record for many WWE pay-per-views and TV shows over recent years.

It’s also being said that he was well liked and some people in the company were shocked by his departure.

It appears that Marty Miller and Kevin Dunn will be handling directing for WWE broadcasts moving forward.
