Sunday night Kurt Angle announced that if Paul Heyman or Brock Lesnar didn’t appear on Raw this week, Brock Lesnar would be stripped of the Universal Championship.
Kurt Angle kicked off the show, and then Paul Heyman made his way to the ring. Angle said that Brock would be stripped of the title if he didn’t agree to defend it, so Heyman confirmed that Brock will put the title on the line at SummerSlam.
Kurt Angle then set up a triple threat match between Roman Reigns, Finn Balor and Drew McIntyre, and another triple threat featuring Bobby Lashley, Elias and Seth Rollins.
The Reigns vs. Balor vs. McIntyre match kicked off after the commercial break, and in the end it was Reigns who got the victory.
Bobby Lashley later picked up the win in his match, so Lashley and Reigns will be facing off once again next week on Raw, and the winner will become the number one contender for the Universal Title.
