There was once a time when John Cena was a regular on WWE programming, but thanks to his acting career those days are gone. Cena hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since the Greatest Royal Rumble back in April, and fans are wondering when we will see him again. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, it’s rumored that Cena will be appearing at SummerSlam.

Cena faced off against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 34 back in April, and Taker squashed him in short time.
It’s bee rumored that Taker and Cena could be competing in a rematch at SummerSlam, and @TicketDrew is reporting that both men will be in action at the biggest party of the summer.

As of right now WWE hasn’t announced John Cena’s return to television, so if he does indeed compete at SummerSlam it will be interesting to see how the company brings him back to build up his potential match.
