Earlier this year Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn faced off against Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 34, but when Owens & Zayn lost the match they also lost their jobs on SmackDown Live.
Eventually they managed to find a new home on Monday Night Raw, but unfortunately Sami Zayn’s run with the red brand was short-lived.
Sami Zayn underwent surgery to repair his right rotator cuff in June, and he later underwent surgery to repair his left rotator cuff in August.
Since then fans have been patiently waiting for his return, and it looks like he’ll be back in action sooner than later.
WWE gave fans an update on Sami Zayn’s status this week on Raw, and even though the exact date for his return wasn’t announced, it was confirmed that Zayn is set to return soon.
