We’re one day away from WWE WrestleMania 35, and Rey Mysterio was recently announced as Samoa Joe’s opponent for the Show of Shows this year.
However, Mysterio suffered a right ankle injury during his match with Baron Corbin on Raw, and he had to be pulled from his match with Andrade on SmackDown Live this week.
F4Wonline.com is now reporting that Rey Mysterio vs. Samoa Joe is still scheduled to take place at WrestleMania 35.
His WrestleMania match was still in question as late as Wednesday, but Mysterio was seen not limping on Thursday.
Rey Mysterio’s son Dominic is set to watch the US Title match from ringside on Sunday.
