Jason Jordan was getting a pretty decent push at the beginning of 2018, but he was unfortunately pulled from in-ring competition so he could undergo surgery to repair a neck injury.
Jordan has been out of action for weeks now, but Kurt Angle recently indicated during a Q&A session that the former Raw Tag Team Champion will be back shortly after WrestleMania 34.
Now the Wrestling Observer is reporting that the belief is Jason Jordan will be back in time for WWE’s upcoming European tour in May.
WWE recently announced that brand exclusive pay-per-views are coming to an end, and SmackDown Live’s Fastlane pay-per-view was the last brand exclusive PPV fans will be seeing this year.
It looks like WWE officials are also considering holding more dual branded live events.
According to the Observer, if the company does end up running dual branded live events then it will only be on a rare basis.
The likely scenario for this would be dual branded event on Friday night Raw nights in big markets.
The number of WWE live events on the schedule is not expected to decrease.
