Carlito shocked the world on Sunday night when he returned to WWE and entered the 30 man Royal Rumble match. The next night Carlito appeared on Monday Night Raw for the first time in years when he teamed with Jeff Hardy to face Elias and Jaxson Ryker.
Wrestling Inc. is now reporting that Carlito is currently on a three week trial run with WWE.
Sources close to the situation claim that MVP is the one who pushed for WWE to consider Carlito either as a talent, or as a producer, and Triple H gave the approval for the trial run.
PWInsider also reports that Carlito has not officially signed with the company at this point in time, but he’s been receiving a lot of praise internally for his work, and the shape he’s in.
The expectation is that he will be back soon.
