Now that WWE Clash at the Castle has come and gone all eyes are looking ahead to the Extreme Rules premium live event next month. This week on SmackDown a fatal 5-way elimination match was held where Xia Li, Natalya, Lacey Evans, Sonya Deville and Rounda Rousey all competed for a shot at Liv Morgan’s title.
As the match was taking place Liv Morgan looked on from the stands, and it came down to Ronda Rousey and Sonya Deville. The match ended with Ronda Rousey picking up the victory after she made Sonya Deville tap out to the ankle lock.
After the match Liv Morgan stood up and held her title above her head while Rousey stood in the corner and motioned toward her waist to indicate that she’s coming for the belt.
So far this is the first match confirmed for Extreme Rules. The show will take place from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA on October 8. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
