This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA and the card featured a big match between Rusev and Penta to determine who would become the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship.
Unfortunately for Rusev and Penta the match didn’t have a conclusive winner as it was thrown out after Los Americanos interfered and attacked the two competitors. After the group interfered in the match, Rusev and Penta managed to fight back and chase off Los Americanos as the segment came to an end.
Later in the night Adam Pearce confronted Dominik Mysterio backstage while he was talking to Los Americanos. After Los Americanos walked away Pearce informed Dominik that he will be defending his Intercontinental Championship against Rusev and Penta in a triple threat match at Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend.
