This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown aired live from Fort Worth, TX and it featured a big title match as Chelsea Green defended her WWE Women’s United States Championship against Zelina Vega.
The Secret Hervice accompanied Chelsea Green to the ring and continuously interfered. Near the end of the match Chelsea Green tried to hit Unprettier on Zelina Vega, but Vega reversed it into a Backstabber.
Zelina Vega attempted to go for the 619 on Chelsea Green, but Piper Niven grabbed her leg. The referee then started arguing with Piper Niven as Alba Fyre went to pull Zelina Vega’s hair. The ref noticed then decided to ban Piper Niven and Alba Fyre from the ringside area.
As Zelina Vega was watching them leave Chelsea attacked Zelina Vega from behind and threw her into the ropes. Zelina Vega bounced off the ropes and hit Code Red on Chelsea Green to win the WWE Women’s United States Championship for the first time in her career.
