This week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown took place from ThunderDome, and the show featured three title matches.
Roman Reigns successfully defended his Universal Championship, and Charlotte Flair and Asuka managed to successfully defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, but Sami Zayn wasn’t so lucky.
Sami Zayn defended the Intercontinental Championship against Big E in a lumberjack match in the main event, and when it was all said and done Big E walked out with the gold.
The end of the match came when Sami Zayn tried to exit the arena, but the lumberjacks threw him back in the ring. Big E then took control and put Zayn away with the big ending.
Big E is now a two time WWE Intercontinental Champion.
