For months now Vince McMahon has been mentoring Theory, and last week it was announced that Theory would be getting a shot at the United States Championship. Theory challenged Finn Balor for the belt on Monday night, and it was Theory who walked out with the gold when it was all said and done.
The end of the match came when Finn Balor went for the Coup de Grâce, but Theory moved out of the way then followed up by hitting Finn Balor with his finisher to win the match.
After the match some of the heels from the roster came down to celebrate with Theory in the ring. Vince McMahon then made his way out to the stage and Theory walked up the ramp then took a selfie with Vince McMahon.
