This week’s episode of NXT kicked off with a big title match which saw Adam Cole successfully defend his NXT Championship against Finn Balor.
In the main event of the show Shayna Baszler defended the NXT Women’s Championship against Rhea Rhipley, and in the end it was Rhipley who walked out with the gold.
The end of the match came when Shayna Baszler and Rhea Rhipley were in the corner and Baszler started talking trash to Rhipley. Rhea responded by head-butting Baszler, then followed up by hitting Riptide from the second rope for the win.
After the match Rhea Rhipley celebrated with the title belt in the ring as a group of fans held her up.
