This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured some interesting moments including Chris Jericho turning on Santana & Ortiz and forming a new stable, and the debut of Jeff Hardy.
Sammy Guevara defended the TNT Championship against Scorpio Sky in the main event, and in the end it was Scorpio Sky who walked out with the belt.
The end of the match came when Sammy went for a shooting star press off the top rope, but Scorpio Sky put his knees up. Dan Lambert then distracted the referee, and Ethan Page tried to get in the ring, butt Tay Conti stopped him. As Conti was arguing with Ethan Page she was attacked by Paige VanZant who threw her into the ring steps.
As Sammy Guevara was looking at the action outside the ring Scorpio Sky grabbed him and hit him with the TKO to win the match and the TNT Championship. After the match Paige VanZant kicked Tay Conti on the head and Conti fell onto Guevara. Paige VanZant then signed an AEW contract on Tay Conti while she was knocked out to end the show.
