On Saturday night the debut episode of AEW Collision aired live from the United Center in Chicago and a new champion was crowned. Wardlow put the TNT Championship on the line against Luchasaurus and it was Luchasaurus who walked out with the gold.
The end of the match came when Wardlow stood up on the ropes and started punching Luchasaurus in the corner. Luchasaurus went underneath Wardlow to get away from him and Christian Cage ran up the steel ring steps and hit Wardlow with a camera while the referee wasn’t looking. Luchasaurus then followed up and pinned Wardlow to win the TNT Championship for the first time in his career.
After the match Christian Cage held up the TNT Championship and celebrated in the corner. Luchasaurus then put Christian Cage up on his shoulders and Christian showed off the belt. Christian then left the ring with the belt and held it up over his head while he made his way to the back.
