On Sunday night AEW All In took over Wembley Stadium, and The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn challenged House of Black for the AEW World Trios Championship in front of 81,000 people.
A few weeks ago Billy Gunn teased his potential retirement when he took off his boots inside the ring, but the WWE Hall of Famer pulled out all the stops for the trios match at All In. Before the bell rang it was announced that the match would be a No Holds Barred match.
Both teams battled and brawled in the ring and around the ringside area. At one point Billy Gunn threw a chair in Brody King’s head. He then entered the ring and took on Malakai Black & Buddy Matthews by himself.
Max Caster hit Brody King with the Mic Drop off the top rope, but he kicked out. Billy Gunn hit the Famouser on Brody King then Max Caster hit the Mic Drop for a second time. Bowens, Caster and Gunn all pinned Brody King at the same time to win the match.
After the match House of Black got in the ring and handed the AEW World Trios Championship to The Acclaimed. Anthony Bowens got on the mic and said they promised 81,000 people the biggest scissor party on Earth. The Acclaimed then did the scissor thing with Billy Gunn as the fans cheered to end the segment.
