Big Stipulation Match Announced For WWE Bash In Berlin

For months now CM Punk’s feud with Drew McIntyre has been one of the most talked about feuds in wrestling. The two former champions finally faced off at SummerSlam and it was Drew McIntyre who managed to pick up the victory.

Following SummerSlam, CM Punk has continued to target Drew McIntyre and this week on Monday Night Raw he challenged McIntyre to a match at the Bash In Berlin premium live event.

Punk made his way down to the ring wearing a strap on his neck which made it clear that he was looking to face off against Drew McIntyre in a strap match. Before he got started CM Punk congratulated the Florida Panthers on winning the Stanley Cup.

The former WWE Champion said someone asked him over the weekend at Fanatics Fest why WWE is on such a hot streak, and he said it’s all because of the fans. CM Punk talked about all the fans he met at the event and said that it means something to him to hear their stories. He said the fans drive him, so they chanted his name.

He talked about all the bracelets fans make for him then pulled a few out of his pocket. Punk told Drew that he made things personal. The Second City Saint said Drew is obsessed with him because he wears a bracelet with his wife’s name on it. He told the fans that he made a bracelet for Drew McIntyre then held up the strap.

CM Punk explained the rules while stating that they will be attached and each competitor will have to touch all four corners to win. Drew interrupted him.

Drew told Punk he has a question then asked him if he’s started drinking. He then accepted the strap match at Bash In Berlin. However, Drew told Punk that he can’t wait until next week, so if fans want a preview of Punk vs. McIntyre he’ll give the fans a show if Punk loses the strap. CM Punk responded by telling Drew that he’ll give him the strap if Drew gives him the bracelet. Drew took the bracelet off then laughed and said “no.” McIntyre said April and Larry are happier and safer at home with him. Punk told Drew that he won’t be safe at Bash In Berlin.
