Tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw is set to be a big one, as it’s the season premiere of WWE’s flagship show.
Over the last few months fans have been seeing a lot of RETRIBUTION on WWE programming, and a few weeks ago it was revealed that Mustafa Ali is the leader of the group.
Now Fightful Select is reporting that WWE has tentative plans to reveal that Mustafa Ali was the SmackDown hacker from a few months ago.
It was noted that early plans for the show call for Ali to reveal himself, but that the hacker angle wasn’t originally meant to be a focal point of the RETRIBUTION storyline. It was also noted that originally WWE didn’t plan on mentioning the hacker angle, but it was pitched as a way to tie up loose ends.
Plans can always change, but as of Monday the reveal was set to take place in a short promo segment on Raw tonight.
Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
