Business has been picking up on the road to WrestleMania 36, and this weekend the stars of NXT will step into the spotlight at NXT TakeOver: Portland.
According to PWInsider, women’s Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair is set to be at NXT TakeOver: Portland this weekend so she can continue her storyline with Rhea Rhipley.
Rhea Rhipley is set to defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair, but it’s expected that Rhipley will retain the title and go on to defend it against Charlotte at Mania.
Charlotte’s storyline with Rhipley has been playing out on Raw and NXT over the last few weeks, and although Rhipley has officially challenged Charlotte, The Queen has yet to officially accept.
