Big Show Fires A Shot At Shaq

The Big Show and Shaquille O’Neal began their rivalry at last year’s WrestleMania and it was immediately rumored that the two would square off in Orlando the following year. Although we are finally on the Road to WrestleMania, there has been no mention of Show vs. Shaq on WWE television. Regardless of that fact, reports are that the match is written down on the card with ink.

Big Show is probably in the best shape of his career as he continues to post pictures on social media displaying his incredible physique, and Shaq is Shaq. Therefore, both of these guys are ready to go, its just a matter of putting it on Raw.

Although they haven’t locked horns on television yet, the warning shots have been fired on social media. Big Show sent out a message to Shaq today to let him know that this isn’t a game, and he better get serious.

If you’re wondering how they’ll book themselves out of this one, we are too.

Dave Meltzer said that he wouldn’t be surprised to see Shaq win because it would be a great highlight to give to news outlets and it wouldn’t necessarily hurt Big Show’s credibility because well, he’s still a freaking giant.

However, it would certainly be an eye-rolling moment if Shaq made Show look too weak in this regard. O’Neal is a basketball player that’s always wanted to do something in wrestling. Meanwhile, the Big Show is a respected sports entertainer who has had career longevity that most could only dream of.

It is also important to remember that Shaq once played for the Orlando Magic, and left to win NBA Championships elsewhere. O’Neal is still beloved in the area, but the local market historically only makes up a fraction of the live audience in attendance at recent Manias. Therefore, it will be an interesting dichotomy to say the least.

Who do you want to win between Show and Shaq? Or do you even care? Will this just be another Big Show attraction crowbarred into WrestleMania like his matches with Akebono or Floyd Mayweather were?

Let us know below, because that’s what the comments section is for after all!
