Apparently there was a rumor making the rounds claiming that Big Show had passed away. Luckily that’s not the case, and the former WWE World Champion is alive and well. The story apparently emanated from a blog called “WWE” which claimed that Big Show died in a car accident earlier this month.
The Associated Press noted that Chris Bellitti, a spokesman for World Wrestling Entertainment Inc., said Tuesday that Paul Donald Wight II, better known to wrestling fans as Big Show, is alive and well. It was also noted that the blog spreading the rumor is in now way affiliated with WWE.
Not only is Big Show alive and well, he also appears to be in great shape. Big Show noted recently that he’s dropped quite a bit of weight, and he’s been busy training as he prepares for his big match with Shaq at WrestleMania 33.
Show recently shared a photo of himself at the gym which can be seen below.
