Shortly after the cruiserweight division was resurrected a few years ago the stars of the division were given their own brand in the form of 205 Live.
205 Live has been airing on Tuesday nights after SmackDown Live for some time now, but it looks like the show could be coming to an end.
Heel By Nature is reporting that a source claimed 205 Live will be scrapped in a couple of months. It was also indicated that an announcement would be coming in September.
At this point it’s not known if WWE will be moving the Cruiserweight Title to the main roster, or if the belt will become part of NXT if the brand does indeed get scrapped.
It seems that changes are coming as it was recently reported that NXT is set to move to Wednesday nights USA Network where it will become a two hour live show.
An official announcement regarding NXT’s move to USA Network is expected to be made tonight.
