SmackDown Live is shaping up to be an interesting show this week, as SmackDown General Manager Paige recently announced that Maryse will be taking on Brie Bella in the main event.
It was also announced that R-Truth will be facing off against Andrade “Cien” Almas.
Jeff Hardy has been feuding with Randy Orton as of late, and they’re set to collide at Hell in a Cell on Sunday. But Hardy still has some unfinished business with Shinsuke Nakamura, and he recently took to Twitter to say that Nakamura must be rendered obsolete.
Luckily for Hardy, Paige has book Jeff Hardy vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for this week’s episode, and she’s announced that the match will kick off the show.
Before I dive deep into Hell…I shall CLEANSE my soul. @ShinsukeN still lingers..so This Tuesday…He must be rendered #OBSOLETE

A good “soul-cleansing” is nice every now and again. So I’ll give you that opportunity….
Jeff Hardy vs. @ShinsukeN tomorrow on #SDLive. And that will be the FIRST MATCH of the show. https://t.co/8F8EvXsZcJ— PAIGE (@RealPaigeWWE) September 10, 2018
Charlotte Flair will also be facing Sonya Deville in a non-title match, and The Bar will be facing Rusev Day to determine who will be challenging The New Day for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at Hell in a Cell.
