WWE has released a number of talents recently due to coronavirus related budget cuts and now it seems that another name has been let go.
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE has released former UFC Champion Cain Velasquez.
It was noted that Cain Velasquez signed a “giant contract” with WWE that was a multi-year deal.
Velasquez hasn’t been used since he faced Brock Lesnar at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia back on October 31, 2019.
The former UFC star was believed to have been let go due to the recent budget cuts.
