WrestleMania is the biggest annual event in the world of professional wrestling, and with WrestleMania comes the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Each and every year stars from the past are inducted into the Hall of Fame, and it looks like WWE officials are considering a former WWE Champion as the headliner for the 2019 class.
Brad Shepard recently discussed the 2019 Hall of Fame class on Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast and reported that Batista is an early favorite to be inducted (via Ringside News).
“Batista is now likely to go into the WWE Hall Of Fame this coming year at WrestleMania. Not final, but he is the early major name to go into the Hall Of Fame this coming year.”
Batista will be returning to WWE tonight for SmackDown 1000.
He’s set to take part in the Evolution reunion, but it will be interesting to see if any future plans are teased for Batista during his appearance.
