We’re only a few weeks away from the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view, and fans are hoping to see some big surprises on Royal Rumble Sunday.
There are a lot of rumors going around in regards to who could be appearing at the show, and recently there’s been talk of WWE Hall of Famer Edge returning to the ring.
Bill Prichard of WrestleZone is now reporting that Edge will make his return at the Royal Rumble, and he will be entering the men’s Royal Rumble match.
It’s not known if this will be a one off appearance for Edge, but it’s being said that he’s a “lock” to return, and he will reportedly be a very early entrant into the match.
PWInsider has reported that Edge was spotted in Pittsburgh for WWE business, and that Edge signed a new deal with a nice upside which led to speculation that it is more than just a Legends deal.
The Royal Rumble will air live on the WWE Network on Sunday, January 26.
