Crown Jewel has become a very controversial event due to the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Despite all of the controversy, WWE is moving ahead with the event as planned, however it looks like some of the big matches on the card could be in jeopardy.
Roman Reigns is currently scheduled to defend his Universal Championship against Braun Strowman & Brock Lesnar, but Robbie Fox of Barstool Sports is reporting that Reigns is dealing with an undisclosed injury.
Fox is also reporting that Daniel Bryan and John Cena are refusing to go to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel.
Daniel Bryan is currently scheduled to challenge AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at the event, and Cena is set to compete in the World Cup tournament.
WWE Crown Jewel could be in trouble.
I was just told Reigns is currently injured and that Cena and Bryan are "refusing" to work the show. Many on the current WWE roster have expressed concerned with going, as well, but obviously not all of them have the power like Cena/Bryan.

As far as Roman’s status goes for Raw, PWInsider is reporting that Reigns was given the weekend off, but he is backstage at Raw tonight.
