NXT Vengeance Day aired live on Saturday night and the show gave fans plenty to talk about. Giulia defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Bayley, Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez in a fatal four way match that ended up main eventing the show.
The title match was action packed and Giulia ended up retaining her championship after she hit Roxanne Perez with the Northern Lights Bomb then pinned her to pick up the victory.
After the match came to an end Giulia celebrated in the ring as she held up the NXT Women’s Championship. Stephanie Vaquer then made her way down to the ring. Earlier in the night Stephanie Vaquer won the NXT Women’s North American Championship. She stood side by side with Giulia and Vaquer glanced at the NXT Women’s Championship as they both held up their belts.
Out of nowhere Jordynne Grace’s music hit and she entered to “holy s***” chants from the crowd. Grace got in the ring and stared down Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer as the show went off the air.
It was reported a few weeks ago that Jordynne Grace had signed a deal with WWE and she ended up making a surprise appearance on the women’s Royal Rumble earlier this month. It was expected that Grace would be joining NXT, and it looks like she’s going to be a big player in the women’s division moving forward.
