This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw is set to air live from the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, AL and it will focus on the fallout from Saturday Night’s Main Event and WWE Evolution.
Ahead of this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Adam Pearce announced that the new WWE Women’s World Champion Naomi will be appearing on the show. Pearce also confirmed that Nikki Bella will be wrestling on Raw for the first time in seven years when she goes one on one with Chelsea Green.
Nikki Bella competed in the women’s battle royal at the Evolution premium live event on Sunday, but unfortunately for Nikki it was Stephanie Vaquer who picked up the victory to earn a guaranteed title shot at Clash in Paris.
Gunther was able to successfully retain his WWE World Heavyweight Championship over the weekend when he defeated Goldberg at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The Ring General now needs a fresh challenger and it’s been announced that CM Punk, Jey Uso, LA Knight, Penta and Bron Breakker will be competing in a gauntlet match to determine who will be challenging Gunther for the belt at SummerSlam. According to Adam Pearce, Gunther will be present on Raw, and he will be watching the gauntlet match.
