For the last few weeks a big feud has been boiling over between the Blackpool Combat Club and The Elite. This week things escalated when the Blackpool Combat Club attacked Adam Page backstage, and then later confronted Kenny Omega after his successful IWGP United States Championship defense against Jeff Cobb.
The Blackpool Combat Club surrounded the ring after the match, but Bryan Danielson’s music hit and Bryan made his big return. Bryan got in the ring and told the Blackpool Combat Club to stand down. He offered his hand to Kenny Omega, but Kenny seemed unsure.
Omega then accepted the offer and stood with Danielson. Kenny went to attack Wheeler Yuta and when he turned around he got hit with a Psycho Knee from Danielson. Bryan then put Kenny in the LeBell Lock and the Blackpool Combat Club got in the ring. They ganged up on Kenny Omega before Brandon Cutler and security came out to break it up.
The rest of the Blackpool Combat Club fought off the security while Danielson locked in the LeBell Lock. The Blackpool Combat Club stood tall as Bryan screamed in Kenny’s face while the fans booed to end the segment.
Earlier this month Bryan Danielson challenged MJF for the AEW World Championship in the main event of All Out, but he failed to win the gold. After the match he announced that he was going home. However, Bryan is back and it looks like the Blackpool Combat Club is on the same page when it comes to their feud with The Elite.
