Big E has been out of action since March as he was unfortunately stretchered out of a match that took place on SmackDown and it was later revealed that the former WWE Champion suffered a broken neck.
A broken neck is obviously a very serious injury and luckily it seems that the recovery process is going well for Big E as he’s said in the past that he hasn’t had to deal with any nerve issues or atrophy. Recently Big E spoke to The Urban Times about what’s next for his recovery and he noted that he’ll be getting another update on his neck in March.
“I have to get some more scans at the one-year mark in March, and then we’ll see how everything’s looking, but we’ll see from there. Yeah, yeah [excited to return], my C1 is broken in two spots, so I obviously would be very smart about that. I was very fortunate, so I just want to make sure I’m making the best decision for myself, so we’ll see in March.”
Stay tuned for more updates on Big E’s status as they become available.
