It’s no big secret that WWE programming is meant to be PG and family friendly, but from time to time Superstars do get riled up and use strong language in their promos.
The word “ass” sometimes gets thrown around, and during a recent episode of The New Day: Feel The Power podcast the trio noted that they weren’t sure if they were allowed to say the word on their show.
That’s when Big E shared a story revealing what John Cena told them about using the word “ass” on TV.
“That’s what John Cena told us. This is a real conversation. He said, ‘You only say ass in a promo when you’re ready to fight.’”
It’s been a while since fans have seen John Cena on WWE programming, as he’s mostly been focused on his acting career. However, it was recently reported that the 16 time WWE World Champion wants to have a significant role at WrestleMania 36.
If you could book John Cena’s match for WrestleMania 36 who would he face? Sound off in the comments below.
