NXT has been one of the most popular brands in all of wrestling ever since it debuted, and fans have often seen some impressive call-ups to the main roster over the years. However, fans have also noticed that some NXT stars are presented in a different manor when they get called up, which hasn’t always led them to success on Raw or SmackDown.
NXT was often thought of as Triple H’s baby, but now Triple H is leading the charge for creative on the main roster, and Shawn Michaels is steering the ship for NXT. HBK recently spoke to WrestleRant about what fans can expect to see from main roster call-ups moving forward, and he indicated that talents who get called up will be more reminiscent of what they represented in NXT.
“Someone who is someone in NXT can now move up to the main roster, be recognized as the same person, talk about coming from NXT, and perhaps blending immediately into a storyline with someone who was previously in NXT. I absolutely think that communication is clearly going to be there, those transitions should be more seamless and more comfortable, and also the readiness of the talent going up.”
