On Sunday night the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view will air live on the WWE Network, and Drew McIntyre will defend his WWE Championship inside the chamber.
This week Raw kicked off with Drew McIntyre making an appearance on Miz TV, and Drew hit Miz with a Glasgow Kiss headbutt. The Miz then declared when he cashes in Money in the Bank for the WWE Title or the Universal Title that he will become champion, and he announced that he’s removing himself from the Elimination Chamber match.
Later in the show The Miz talked to Adam Pearce and told him he wanted to give his spot to John Morrison. Kofi Kingston later talked to Pearce and told him he wanted the spot.
Adam Pearce booked Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz with the stipulation being that Kofi would get the spot if he won, and that Morrison would get the spot if Miz won.
Kofi Kingston ended up getting the win, and he will now go on to face WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles and Randy Orton on Sunday.
