A few weeks ago Sasha Banks became a 4 time Raw Women’s Champion when she made Alexa Bliss tap out to the Banks Statement at SummerSlam, but her title reign was short-lived. Alexa Bliss got a rematch on Raw last week, and she managed to put Sasha Banks down for the three count and win the Raw Women’s Championship for the second time in her career.
After the match Nia Jax made her way down to the ring, and she put Alexa Bliss up on her shoulders. At first it looked like Jax was in the ring to celebrate with Bliss, but she dropped her down to the mat and then made her intentions clear when she held the Raw Women’s Title up above her head.
Prior to Raw this week it was announced that Sasha Banks would be getting her rematch for the Raw Women’s Title at No Mercy, but the match was changed during Raw. Nia Jax and Emma appeared in a backstage segment and they both tried to convince Kurt Angle that they deserve a title shot. Kurt booked Nia and Emma in a tag team match against Alexa and Sasha, and he told them that if they won they would be added to the title match at No Mercy.
Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks worked well as a team, but they didn’t get the job done on Monday night. Emma tagged in when Nia Jax wasn’t looking, then Nia hit a leg drop to win the match and Emma made the pin.
The Raw Women’s Championship match at No Mercy will now be a fatal 4-way.
It’s also been confirmed that Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins will defended the Raw Tag Team Titles against Sheamus and Cesaro at the pay-per-view. Bray Wyatt will also face Finn Balor.
