Big Cass might be rehabbing an injury at the moment but he’s still seven-feet-tall and you can’t teach that. Unfortunately, you also can’t teach his knee to recover any faster than it is because he’s working as hard as he can to get back into in-ring shape after his injury the night after SummerSlam.
The former Realest Guy In The Room was recently asked about his former tag team partner Enzo Amore and all the backstage heat on him when he had a very simple response.
“Because he’s Enzo,” Cass replied. “I mean, you’d have to ask a lot of people their opinions on that, but I’ll just say it’s because he’s Enzo. That’s why.”
That’s a very good way of saying someone is just a difficult person to work with while excusing it in the process. Some people might say Big Cass is letting Enzo Amore’s actions and constant braggadocious rhetoric slide while others might just call Big Cass an enabler of Amore’s outlandish douchocity.
Big Cass has experienced a lot of great moments in the ring during his run with the WWE main roster at this point. But he opened up about what he considers the biggest achievement of his career which took place while Enzo Amore was out of action after suffering a concussion.
“I’d say competing for the Universal Championship, Fatal 4-Way match in Houston last August. Probably my favorite memory right now on Monday Night RAW is competing for the Universal Championship,” Cass said. “There’s a lot left for me to prove. I do want to win the Universal Championship but I do feel like I did show that I could hang with the big boys, so when I come back that’s what I’m looking to do.”
If you remember that match like I do it looked like WWE was trying to see how Cass would look paired up with some of the top names on Raw. Although he didn’t last long in the match, he still made a pretty good impression.
Therefore, it might only be a matter of time before Cass returns after his devastating knee injury to jump right on top of the Red Team’s show. How you doin’?
